So, here I am again. What I'm doing here, I'm not really sure. I have nothing to do.

Perhaps I'll post something worth posting in a second.

I do believe that I am through with my church's Young Adult class. No more. I stood there and disagreed and was disrespected, threaten and verbally assualted, and no one called the other guy down for it. I have better things to do with my time than listen to someone tell me how I am special and important to God. I already know that. Much of what this class teaches me I already know, and I am bored by that. Much of what she says, I don't agree with. I diffused the situation, and I politely left, but no one came to me, after. They went to him. So, I will not come to them again,... (more)

Well, well. Thank you Florida Legislators for promoting yet another stupid and obvious decision.

Recently, someone decided that the best policy to slow underage drinking would be to change the licenses. This is a good idea, only the method of implementing it is not at all what it seems to be. The plan is to change the licenses of under-21's. Their new lisences will be red, not blue, and they will be vertical, not horizontal. Why change them? This is will make it easier to distinguish under-age from legal.

Yeah, right.

What under-age drinker actually flashes his... (more)

Well. I am going to have to handle someone: Sope12. I'll just refer to him as such, as those who should know who he is will know. He apparently enjoys randomly harrassing his ex's friends, and yesterday Sopey (I'll refer to him as this instead) made a mistake: he decided to im me. Now, I'll admit that I was, in a fashion, looking for a confrontation with Sopehead (maybe that's better). But I tend not to enjoy people iming me as if they don't know who I am, and then suddenly knowing who I am, all while trying to cute with a game of cat and mouse. I am not a mouse. I am an Owl and I... (more)

Old People

Old people drive me insane, for a number of reasons. At first, I was only mildly bothered. However, after dealing with them again and again in a huge variety of situations, the feeling has changed. Not older people are like this, but sadly, the vast majority are. I feel it is necessary to delve into just why old people drive me insane.

The number one reason is that they feel that because they have managed to do what trillions upon trillions of humans have done that they are somehow special. Even more irritating is the idea that because God chose not to kill them at a younger age, that... (more)

Umbrella, or No Umbrella

I believe that humanity can be broken down into two basic groups. This is somewhat simplistic, I know, but on average, most of humanity is simplistic, too.

The two groups are as follows: Umbrella People and Rain People. At first, I was simply content with Umbrella People and No-Umbrella People, but I felt that the No- sort of distorted the idea. It's not that they are anti-umbrella, it's that they just don't normally use them. Nothing personal.

In any event, people fall into one or the other. Have you ever seen those poor souls who, when trapped in a rain storm filled with high... (more)

“Never to Be”
Falling down,
Grasping at the Edge
Never knowing why the End
Can be so bright.
Screaming, running,
All in so much fright
Beating at Hope
While cursing Wisdom
You are lost,
And now you found me.
Grasping at the Edge,
Never knowing why the End
Can be so bright.
Screaming, and running,
All in so much fright
All you want is what you can see
But I have so much more to be
Pearls are sacred, and you are not
Yet here you are,
“Alms for the poor,”
Crawling through the mud, I will be
Pearls are kept in an air-tight bag
I’ll offer a hand,
But you- I will never... (more)

“The Storm”
Rain is falling
Standing in the rain
Feel the life pouring down
Why run and hide?
Wind ripping through our world
Air swirling all about us
Why fear its power?
Lightning flashes
The Dark beaten by the Light
Moments of true sight
Should this be my foe?
The Storm rages everyday,
To stand in it is to stand in Life,
May it rage to the End
And may I stand to that day.
